Comments: Excellent site for daily driver Volvos(the best kind). En-joyed tech articles, but urge you to post brake repair articles at earliest opportunity, as I'm sure an Amazon somewhere in the Northeast is gonna lose its brakes with the first really cold day. Silicone fluid may be the answer we've been looking for. Thank You! Al

Comments: What a great, colorful, entertaining and informative web- site !!! Super !! The only time in my life I owned a Volvo was by mistake and it was one of the best mistakes that was made for me! On a trip to Italy in 1988, I had a voucher for a rented car; it was supposed to be a Fiat but upon arrival in Milano, I was told all the Fiats were rented and I had a choice - a Volvo or an Opal. I took the Volvo. It was one of the best two weeks of driving in Europe that I ever experienced. Unfortunately, upon return to the reality of my work and my wallet, I realized, alas, I cant afford a Volvo!!! What a great car and what a great website that brought back many memories! Bravo!

Comments: I consider the alternator upgrade offered here a "must have" for any owner of a B18/B20-powered Volvo. I have converted two cars so far. The first was a '61 544 that had a rather "hacked" 12-volt conversion and a B18 in it. Ron Kwas took the time to mark up an old 6-volt schematic to help me get things right. The second car is my current '66 122S with a B20. The conversion took very little time thanks to the excellent instructions provided with the kit. I also refer people here from "The Brickboard" and the "Swedish Classics" bulletin board for advice on how to deal with electrical problems on all models of Volvos. Thanks for the conversion(s) and the advice!

Comments: I really dig your site. It's nice to see a site devoted to volvos, 122's in general. I own a two door 68 122S and could use some suggestions on where I may find parts and how I could possibly obtain the special tool to remove my rear drums. I just found out today that my berrings are going out HELP ME PLEASE I don't have a clue and all the part stores, bone yards, and mechanics in my area a completly retarded when it comes to volvos. Feel free to e-mail me I could really use the help and wouldn't mind hearing from other 122 owners.

My current driver is a 1973 142 that I confiscated from my girlfriend when she married me.I still own my P1800E,but the Volvo Manufacturers Warranty expired at the end of 1975.
