This page features pictures contributed by honored customers.  You are welcome, invited and encouraged to show off your Swedish beauty against an exotic or interesting backdrop.  Be creative, and contribute some pix!  Credit will be given to the contributor, naturally, and maybe even rewards if this gets really interesting!  For instance, how about a storm chaser with tornado in the background...or maybe Pelé adding real estate to the Big Island...or  road signs like "Moonstone Nudist Beach"...or "Harare, (Zimbabwe) 40km" [belay that...thanks to Bruce W., we already have one of those, see below!] or how about in front of the Sam Adams brewery...or...well, you get the idea!  Jump to Ground rules.

Enjoy!

Location/Title:  Zimbabwe/Amazon in Africa.

SwEm equipment onboard:  Brake Light Switch Upgrade

Additional:  Bruce explains this car was originally assembled in Durban, South Africa in 1967, after its constituent parts arrived there by ship from Sweden. It was also rallyed some by the original owner, and at the time of the picture, was showing 64,000 mi. although Bruce thinks the odo might very well be on its third time around.  Further, he says a 122 is actually an ideal car for Zimbabwe. The robust suspension and reasonably good ground clearance work well on this country's paved but bumpy roads.

Ground Rules:

1.  As the title of this section suggests, original (not previously published only) entries must feature a SwEm equipped vehicle in an interesting pose or exotic location. You may include as much information as you wish including vehicle details, camera type/lens/and photographic setup, date the pic was taken, your credit card number (including expiration date), etc. but at an absolute minimum, you should include the photographer, and picture location or suggested title, and SwEm equipment onboard, so that proper credit can be given.

2.  Computer creations are allowed but discouraged...besides being in pretty poor taste, a 123GT flying into WTC No.1 or in front of an exploding Hindenburg ala "Touristguy.com" will likely not be used...however, your general and artistic creativity is encouraged...so for instance, a pic of your freshly waxed baby on a lawn is not nearly as interesting as a cubic yard of compressed sheet metal definitely (and unfortunately) identifiable as an 1800 (and we'll have to take your word for it that it was SwEm equipped)!

3.  Entries can be mailed but I can't guarantee to return them (they might fall through the cracks around the Embassy...or maybe the rust holes...or maybe get blown out of an open "wing-vent" while traveling a high speed!   Better yet, electronically, attached to an e-mail, a medium resolution .jpg might be preferred.

4.  Entries will be accepted anytime and presented at the discretion of the website owner...me...and:  Thanks for participating!  Ron
